Financial Analyst (Financial Operations and Accounting)

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Accounting for revenue, provisions, fixed assets, processing payment for sales concessions, AP forecasting, monthly financial analysis, SOX testing and quarterly GST reporting


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform month end closing relating to fixed assets, revenue recognition, revenue concessions, warranty, royalty, and revaluation
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Prepare monthly Accounts Payable forecast
- Prepare monthly balance sheet variance analysis
- SOX testing
- Prepare quarterly GST return
- Perform ad-hoc assignments

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
- Minimum 5 years working experience - with at least 2 years in an audit firm preferred
- Experience with Hyperion and BaaN or other ERP system is preferred
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
- Attentive to detail and quality of work
- Proven ability to be a team player

- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
