1. Stick to a solid fruit punch: The idea is not to clash too much, but to create a harmonious look. We love Jil Sander’s citrus combo for spring (above left), wherein lemon, lime and grapefruit were paired to perfection.

2. Tone down the noise by opting for bright separates in simple shapes. Office staples such as button-ups, pencil skirts and kitten heels are subtle enough to carry off those hyper tones.

3. When you take colour to such a maximum, do the opposite with your accessories. Keep them small and understated or go for none at all. Frippery will only take away from professionalism.
