Tips for beautiful aging

While you can’t turn back the hands of time and the aging process is inevitable, it’s clear we all want our skin to look young and healthy.

There are a host of products that claim, with or without much validity, to help reverse aging, but the best and a sure way to do it, is through the natural means. Remember, the earlier you start to take care of your skin, the better the results will be.

Below are some of the ways you can help yourself to reverse the aging process.

1. Pick a cleanser that is strong enough to remove impurities and sebum but not too harsh that it strips your skin of its natural oils. As this not only damages your skin but accentuates your wrinkles.

2. Try and keep in the shade as much as possible when walking while the sun is at its strongest temperature.

3. Avoid caffeine and alcohol as these increase the toxins in your body. The toxin slows down your body's ability to process water efficiently and of course damages more cells. Some may find it difficult to give up either, so it is recommended that you consume caffeine or alcohol at a moderate level.

4. A regular regimen of aerobic activity and strength training is a great way to slow down aging or help to reverse it as it improves your body's muscle tone and that can take “years off” your appearance.

5. Stop smoking as the smoke adds to the harmful toxins in your body. These toxins contribute to damaging DNA cells responsible for repairing damaged blood vessels.
